Day 131/365 - That is one DEAD frige... At least it's empty now!
I woke up Sunday morning, thirsty, and stumbled out to the refrigerator (letting the dog out on the way) to get some ice for a nice cold glass of water. My hand, unfortunately, went straight into a bucket of water, instead of ice.
It was a little strange -- the refrigerator was still running. The light was still on. Everything seemed to indicate that it should be cooling. But, no dice! No cold air, no cold food.
So, I quickly got all the frozen stuff & perishables into a cooler, closed the door again & hoped the rest wouldn't spoil. I had a spare refrigerator in the garage (it was supposed to turn into my new keg-erator eventually!), which I plugged in. I went out to go shopping for a new fridge, and hoped the little refrigerator would be cold by the time I got home.
I found a new fridge, but it couldn't be delivered till Tuesday!!! I guess I'm stuck with the cooler & the small refrigerator till then.
Now, Monday night, the old refrigerator is unplugged and truely dead.
